Royal Family Kids Camp - Less than 3 weeks away

Campers are still registering to be a part of RFKC this summer even though we are less than 3 weeks away.     They are excited to be a part of the amazing opportunity for foster children to spend a week in a safe environment in the great outdoor mountain space.   Camp week is June 24-June 29th.

We are still in need of a couple of counselors (must be 18 & older) who can step in to fill the gap to allow these campers to participate this summer.    If you are interested, please contact Donnie Garver asap at garver2@gmail.com   Training will be provided. Background screen will be required for participation.

HELP NEEDED:

Registration- Monday, June 24th from 7:30-10am

We are seeking 8-10 people who can help with registration.    No training is needed, just friendly faces & willing hands to help the campers & their families through the registration process until the campers leave on the bus.    If you can help or would like more information please contact Donnie Garver or Robin Griffin

Birthday Party: Wednesday June 27th

This is an all day adventure as you carpool to the campgrounds with a great group of people & then spend the afternoon helping foster children celebrate their birthday; something in many cases they don’t get to do where they are currently living.   It is a fun day & a great way to get a taste of this ministry.    Contact Robin Griffin if you are interested in going.

Welcome Home:  Friday June 29th  Two ways to Help; contact Robin Griffin for more information or to sign up to help.

1) Luggage help for staff & campers- From 3:00- 4:30pm, greet campers as they return on the bus, help unload & organize their luggage; then assist the families with their luggage to their cars.    Help unload the camp trailers.    Great way to be involved & be a blessing to many without volunteering a lot of hours.

2) Assist with set up, serving & clean up for the Welcome Home staff dinner.    Set Up: 2-5pm, Serving 5pm-6:30pm, Clean Up 6-7:30pm.      If you can help in any or all of these times, it would be greatly appreciated.    The food is being catered so it does include a good meal with your service!

Many hands make light the work to bless so many in Jesus Name; thanks for stepping up to serve where you can!   You are truly a blessing!

OUR MISSION is to Love God, Love Each Other, and Love The World.

“Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart…soul…and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.’” – Matthew 22:37-40

“Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.’” – Matthew 28:19-20

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:34-35

OUR VISION is to lead people into a life that is completely connected; firmly rooted in our love for God and fully expressed through our love for others. This is lived out in relationships as we Gather, Grow, & Go.
