A CALL TO PRAYERMAY 20

Our next regularly scheduled all-church prayer gathering will be Sunday evening, May 20, 6:00pm, in the Worship Center.

SHOW LOVE TO CHILDREN IN NEED

There are currently nearly 18,000 children in AZ foster care. The children are not in the system due to any of their own choices. They are often confused and internally hurting because they don’t understand. They can feel unwanted or unloved. When in reality, they are cherished children of God, created in His image, and knit together in their mother’s womb.

We, as followers of Christ, have the opportunity and ability to speak love and hope into the lives of these children.

It’s amazing what a few days with the kids will do. A few days of having fun, being kind, paying attention to them, and learning about God’s love for us. By spending just a little bit of time with some kids in need, we can forever change their understanding and view of themselves.

A FEW DAYS WITH A FOSTER CHILD MAKES A FOREVER DIFFERENCE

MERCY PROJECT COMMITMENTS

Last Sunday was our annual Mercy Project emphasis with special guest Brian Helstrom. Due to the sensitive nature of his message, we are unable to make it available online.

If you have not had a chance yet to make your commitment to the Mercy Project for this new year, it’s not too late.

We are asking you to do three things in regards to the Mercy Project: Pray, Pledge and Connect.

  • Please, continually be in PRAYER for our Mercy Projects, praying that our hearts would break for what breaks the heart of God.
  • Please consider making a PLEDGE, or financial commitment, to the Mercy Project. For those of you who regularly support the Mercy Project, thank you. If you are someone who hasn’t given to the Mercy Project in previous years, please prayerfully consider what God may have you do this year. Our goal again this year is $250,000. PLEDGE ONLINE
  • And, please consider how you might CONNECT with the Mercy Project. We would love for everyone to find some place to serve in one of our partnerships. If you don’t currently have a place of service, we will be hosting a Mercy Project Fair on Sunday morning, May 6. Please take advantage of this opportunity to explore ways you might be able to get involved.

JUNIOR HIGH SUMMER CAMPJUN 25-29

Junior High Summer Camp will be the highlight of your summer. We will have unforgettable games, sports, zipline, a high ropes course, kayaking, video games, paintball, and more. Camp will have aspects of training, worshipping, small groups, and being transformed by the love of God. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to connect with God and other Nazarene youth groups on the District.

OUR MISSION is to Love God, Love Each Other, and Love The World.

“Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart…soul…and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.’” – Matthew 22:37-40

“Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.’” – Matthew 28:19-20

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:34-35

OUR VISION is to lead people into a life that is completely connected; firmly rooted in our love for God and fully expressed through our love for others. This is lived out in relationships as we Gather, Grow, & Go.
