ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE • FEB 14 The Lenten season (Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, Easter) is about participating in the journey of Christ leading up to his death and resurrection.  The Christian Church has observed the weeks before Easter as a time of penitence and spiritual self-examination.

Ash Wednesday begins the season by acknowledging the human condition and sin.  Fasting throughout the 40 days of Lent unite the body and heart with the suffering of Jesus.  Lent culminates in Holy Week rehearsing the days before Jesus’ death and celebrating Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Please join us on Wednesday evening, February 14, at 7:00pm in the Crossroads Worship Center for our Ash Wednesday service. Youth and Elementary programming is canceled for the evening so families can participate together in the Ash Wednesday service. Early Childhood programming will still be provided.

OUR MISSION is to Love God, Love Each Other, and Love The World.

“Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart…soul…and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.’” – Matthew 22:37-40

“Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.’” – Matthew 28:19-20

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:34-35

OUR VISION is to lead people into a life that is completely connected; firmly rooted in our love for God and fully expressed through our love for others. This is lived out in relationships as we Gather, Grow, & Go.
